Mindful meditation helps those with anxiety as they become centered or grounded while calming them down, altering their mood and making them feel relaxed; being present and letting go of negativity. Stepping out of ourselves and visualizing helps with pain and stress management taking us to a peaceful, familiar place for things like a dentist appointment or flying. As I have done many times when I have felt overwhelmed. Meditation is mind altering and changes our physical and psychological state while healing and relaxing.
